• Pre-paid airtime is sold on a use-it-or-lose-it basis: if you do not recharge on or before the expiry date, your SIM will automatically expire.
• Ashbury SatCom will send out low-airtime and expiry alerts to each subscriber via email. It is very important that these alerts be attended to in order to ensure that you have airtime at all times, and that your SIM card does not expire.
• A SIM card’s account expiry is extended by each recharge. Each voucher has a corresponding credit expiry period. The account remains on active status as long as the account balance is within the expiry period.
• Upon account expiry, the account enters into a 30-day reactivation period during which no calls are possible, but the SIM can still be recharged.
• After the re-activation period the SIM is de-activated, and a new activation charge will apply in order to recharge it.
